End of Summer Quarter
Saturday, August 29, 2009 @ 1:13 PM
It's been about a month since the last post and I have to say, lots of things have happened in the past month. I actually thought I hadn't done too much during the summer, but after listing them out in my head, I must say it hasn't been a boring summer.
So there was Tyler's little "
get-together" and Stephanie ended up having her
first shot of alcohol.
wow. A pretty bold move on her part since she's the one that hated the idea of drinking, always scolding others
[or mostly me
] for drinking. And then there was Daniel M's party the next weekend where, of course, Stephanie attended for another time to get
crunk. Although pretty hypocritical, I don't blame her because...it
is fun. I got to finally hang out with Lucy, who I hadn't seen for the whole summer. If Nhi had been there, then it would have been perfect. Trying to get her to sneak out last minute didn't work as well as Lucy and I thought would work. haha, oh well. Overall, it was nice to hang out with the friends again. 음...집으로 오는 차안에서는 굉장히 어색했지만ㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋ
And then just a few days later, Nhi, Lucy, and I decided to have a little party of our own in a
tent. I have no clue how we came up with this idea, but it was pretty fun. Plus, I always love hanging out with them. We made cups with our names on it and drawing of our
tribe-identities. We set up the tent, brought out the sleeping bags, a lamp, and the
Vodka. Hanging out with them sober is always fun, but hanging out with them drunk has to be funner. Oh man that was some crazy time.
Then the week after this, I hung out with Nhi in Seattle, and I ended up going back to Bellevue with her and sleeping over at her house. She helped me
dye my hair, which I have to say didn't turn out as light as I wanted. We played the
Game of Life and she totally kicked my ass. Her mom made this delicious pasta with corn.
XD I
love corn! Then we "went to sleep" as in we stayed up talking for
3 hours in her bed. And we drifted off to sleep, finally. The next day, we woke up at about 2PM
[oh 2PM, I love them :3
] and went to Bellevue Square, had McDonald's and once again, went back to Nhi's house and stayed over another night. I hung out with Nhi for roughly about 60 hours
nonstop. And then I went back home after I woke up on the third day and re-dyed my hair. I think it turned out quite alright.
Then, it was time for my final exams and the summer quarter ended. I did pretty horrible during my summer quarter,
sigh...
That weekend was Margaret's birthday, so we all gathered at
Blue Ginger and had good Korean food. Oh yea, I ran into Julisha there, very nice surprise. I hadn't seen her in over a year. Anyways we, then, went to Crossroads for ice cream and sat and talked for another 30 minutes until we decided to go to Margaret's house. We ended up playing this one board game I can't remember the name of, and then played
Apples to Apples. It was pretty fun although we all got really tired at the end. It was about
1AM by that time and we had finished the whole deck of cards, so it was a very long game. In the middle of playing these games, Michelle calls and tells me to go to the party at
ATOs.
Thanks for telling me last minute, you know, because I didn't sell my car and I totally have a ride. But then again, I'm kind of glad I didn't go. Because if I had gone, then I probably would have stayed over at their place all drunk. I don't know, I'm not very fond of those big parties,
especially frat parties.
Anyways, so I ended up staying over at Stephanie's house that night after Margaret's little surprise because it was late and the buses don't run that late. We "went to sleep"...as in, once again, talking for about 3 hours. Then Sunday morning came and I woke up early, and took the bus home to get changed and went to work. yay -_ -. I came home after work, just to find that Daniel L had messaged me the day before inviting me to that one party I missed.
Oh wells. He started talking to me and then I was already on the bus over to his place. He asked me to help him with his trip to Korea, so I decided to help him...a perfectly innocent reason to call someone over at 10PM..?
Ok, I knew what was going to happen. But then again, why not? He's single and was going to Korea for 3 weeks the day after. We've had lots of encounters before,
nothing new. And so I went over, we talked about his trip to Korea a lot, I gave him some shit for smoking, and I "decided" to not take the bus home and slept over. He drove off to the airport next morning, and I went home pretty satisfied.
There's actually more things that have happened, but I'm now getting tired and maybe, I'll talk about them later.
